These are interrupted by the Gompas and the Stupas creating a beautiful story of man’s resilience and oneness with nature. These unending highlands hold stories that are thousands of years old. Simple rustic food, magnificent yet humble monasteries with vibrant paintings of unparalleled finesse create an atmosphere like none other. The openness and the surroundings make you stop to wonder at the nature outside and the chanting and the winds nudge you to reflect inwards.
